I’ve always been a lover of listening to podcasts. My infatuation with audio entertainment increased over lockdown as I became enthralled by the world of wellness. Now, learning more about how to live a well and mindful life has become an enriching and informative part of my daily routine.
Each of these podcasts explores a plethora of different and diverse things relating to wellness, honing in on specific topics for each episode, usually with a professional or leader of that particular subject/industry. These are the shows I continuously return to and repeatedly fuel my fascination and understanding of the body, mind, and soul.
Live Well Be Well
A qualified and experienced nutritionist, Sarah Ann Macklin has been hailed as the Jamie Oliver of nutrition. During her twelve years working as a fashion model, Macklin was shocked at the lack of support and the pressure put on young women to look and be a certain way. Inspired to bring change to the industry she was in, and to help others struggling to find nutritional guidance, Sarah trained as a nutritionist for over five years.
As a highly qualified, practising nutritionist, Sarah brings her voice as well as the knowledge and guidance of others to her podcast, Live Well Be Well. The Live Well Be Well podcast tackles topics of food nutrition, physical and mental health, lifestyle, and many more.

Michelle’s podcast is what opened my eyes to the world of wellness and got me hooked on all things related to living a life with wellness at its core. Michelle’s passion is what shines through most as she interviews wellness industry professionals and business owners in her home of Toronto, and further afield. Rather than being a qualified professional or educator, Michelle is simply a fan of wellness, and thus her candour and intrigue are welcoming and relatable. I can’t sing high enough praise for Michelle Siman’s Lemon Water.
